The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources issued a special circular regarding official working hours for employees of ministries and federal entities during the holy month of Ramadan, based on the cabinet decision defining official working hours for the federal government sector in the holy month of Ramadan.
The official working hours of the ministries and federal entities in the holy month of Ramadan according to the circular - start from 09:00 am and end at 02:30 pm, from Monday to Thursday, and on Friday, it is from 09:00 am till 12:00 pm, except for those who’s the nature of their work requires otherwise.
FAHR highlighted that it is permissible for ministries and federal entities and in accordance with their work interest - to apply the flexible working hours or remote work regulations approved by them during the working days in the holy month of Ramadan, within the limits of the number of working hours approved per day.
On this occasion, FAHR would like to extend its best congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, “may God protect him,” and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and to their brothers the members of the Supreme Council, the rulers of the Emirates, asking God Almighty to bless them with good health and wellness. FAHR also congratulates the UAE citizens and residents on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
