How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Refine search results?

If you find that your search has returned too many results you might want to consider refining your search. You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for.   • The Award of Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed for Best Research in the Field of Human Resources is awarded to the Human Resources Sector under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, which reflects the role of the award in promoting specialized scientific research.

About the Award 

  • Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Award for Best Research in the Field of Human Resources is entitled to the vision of our wise leaders represented by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, The Ruler of Dubai, and it is under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
  • Annual Award that sets a competition in preparing studies and academic research papers related to Human Resources Capital in the UAE, and to come up with innovative suggestions and initiatives that can be adopted and applied.
  • An Award that addresses Students from UAE Higher Education Universities with interests of research in the Award Subject Matter.
  • In each round of the Award, certain topics that are related to the future of Human Capital and researches are submitted accordingly.

Award Objectives

  • Contribute to the enrichment of the HR strategy in the federal government, enhance the authority initiatives through HR studies and future insights.
  • Emphasizing the role of youth in the development of governmental services and innovation culture in HR using research methodologies and technology.
  • Encourage specialized academic researches, and raise their outcomes effectiveness levels in term to empower national competencies and develop the HR capital.
  • Motivate youth to continue their research initiatives to gain the proper knowledge on work life, its associated challenges and the future of HR.
  • Reflect the dynamic role of HR in the Excellence, Productivity and Social Role of the Authorities in the Federal Government.
  • Engage universities “Academic Faculty & Students” to raise the HR level and link it with their career and potential jobs.

Award Management Process with University coordinators

  • Choosing the coordinators to become the communication channel between participants in the award and FAHR award team
  • To Coordinate with the Academic Faculty and Students supervisors to provide the support required when choosing the research / project topic
  • Coordinate with FAHR to promote and market the award to encourage students participation
  • Agree with FAHR on the suitable timeframes of the award which will grant higher participations from students without affecting their academic progress
  • Providing the Authority with the Student and Academic Faculty participations in the award
  • Form an internal evaluation committee from the University Academic Faculty in every participating university to perform the below: 
Study the participations and check their application to the award terms and conditions
Perform the initial evaluation for all participations
Identify the researches / projects which are eligible for participation and proceed sending them to FAHR final evaluation  (Max. 3 researches / projects for each category)
  • Ensure not to publish any research participated in the award until the official announcement of the award winners by FAHR

Award Participation Terms & Conditions

  • The research topic should be related to the listed topics of the Award Round
  • The participating research should not be published or won any previous competitions
  • The research should be 3500 words Min.(10 pages) and Max.6500 words (20 pages)
  • Possibility to participate with a research or a project
  • The research should be submitted in a soft copy (Word & PDF)
  • The research and summary should be submitted in one language only (Arabic or English)
  • One research can be submitted for each participant or a group research for a group of participants (Max. 3)
  • Academic Faculty can (supervise) the participating researchers
  • To submit the research and any required information required during the Award Announced Duration
  • The Award committee may withdraw the Award if there was any breach in the terms and conditions of the award
  • The authority can make use of the researches in practical application
  • There is no objection on publishing the participating research papers in scientific magazines after the announcement of winners
