As per the following rules :-

1.  For U.A.E. Nationals the Federal Law No (11) for the year 2008 in Article (61) stipulates that the Minister or the person whom he delegates may grant the National employee as paid study leave full time within or outside the United Arab Emirates with the purpose of obtaining Undergraduate degree after High School for a period equivalent to the period of approved educational model.
2. For Non U.A.E. Nationals, the Minister or the person whom he delegates may grant non local employee unpaid leave for the purpose of education and such leave is not calculated within the period of service of the employee as per provisions of Article (62) of the Decree under the above mentioned law.

Accordingly the study leave is granted to the local employee with salary and non local employee to be granted without salary as per the legal provisions mentioned supra.

In accordance with the provisions of Article (4) of the resolution of the Cabinet No (16) for the year 1976 regarding the law of accommodation allowance for the local employees and staff in case a Wife and a Husband work together in the service of Federal Government or its services or in the service of Federal Government Departments in any of the Emirate members of the Union or General Corporation or Companies in which the Government contributes, the accommodation allowance is granted to one of them with higher salary under the married category unless otherwise one of them works in a non Government Authority in which the other works and they are far away from each other no less than 100 kilometers, in such case the accommodation allowance is granted to each in the unmarried category.  Accordingly in case there is no distance between the premises of the work of couple, the allowance to be paid at 60% to each with the higher salary.

 In case of allocation of a Government accommodation by the Government and there is no distance, they would not be paid the allowance.

 In case the Husband wants a Government house, 60% shall be paid to each one of them with higher salary and in case of distance the allowance shall be paid at 40% to the wife.

As per provisions of Article (59) of Federal Law No (11) for the year 2008 regarding Human Resources in Federal Government, the Minister or any person delegated by him may grant the National employee an exceptional leave with the gross salary for a period of no more than two months to accompany any of his relatives till the second degree for treatment outside the United Arab Emirates as per a recommendation of a Medical Official Authority.  The Minister or the person delegated by him may extend this leave for a period of two additional months if the circumstances require".

To grant an employee such leave, the following should be satisfied :-

• A Medical Report from a recognized Institution in the United Arab Emirates confirming that the Patient is in need to be accompanied for medication outside the United Arab Emirates.
• Approval of His Excellency the Minister to grant a leave to accompany a patient.

 In case the employee is in a periodical leave and during the leave he accompanies his patient brother then it is not possible to calculate the same as holiday to accompany a patient and the matter needs to be presented to His Excellency the concerned Minister in the light of the documents required to decide what he deems appropriate in this regard.

In accordance with the provisions of Article (18) of Federal Law Decree No(11) for the year 2008 regarding Human Resources in Federal Government the practical experience which should be considered upon appointment is the past experience to the date of commencement of work and no other experience will be entertained after processing the financial procedures for appointment, one or more allowance may be paid from the allowances of the degree of job in which appointment is made to be added to the basic salary, regarding the demand of some employees to amend their job titles or promote them to hire degrees after appointment on the basis of calculation of the past experience years prior to their appointment at the Ministry and this may not be legally accepted and may not be entertained after appointment and the Government Authorities should take procedures to promote them to appropriate positions after satisfaction of legal requirements as per the applicable Federal law.

Yes, retired Civil Servants may be appointed in Federal Government according to the general and special conditions and the conditions stipulated by the Employment Contracts stipulated by Human Resources Law # 11 for the year 2008 after contacting the General Corporation for Pensions and Social Insurance, the applicant shall fulfill the following requirements :-

1. He shall have good conduct ;
2. He shall not be less than 18 years ;
3. He shall possess the Scientific and Practical qualifications necessary to occupy the position ;
4. He shall pass all the tests and interviews related to the position successfully ;
5. He shall be medically fit ;
6. He shall not be convicted in any crime restricting freedom in a crime or misdemeanor against honesty or trust unless he is forgiven by the concerned Authorities or unless he is reinstated ;
7. He should not be previously terminated due to any violation related to work or due to a final Judicial Judgement related to a crime ;

At the Ministry of Health, Medical Specialization in the field of Medical Technology including specialization of Radiation Imaging and also in the field of Scientific Research including Nuclear Medicine specialization as per Ministerial Decree # 3076 for the year 1994 issued by the Ministry of Health regarding addition of Medical Specialization to the specializations stipulated by Resolution of the Cabinet # 9 for the year 1975 and # 10 for the year 1975 and also in the field of Nuclear at the Ministry of Energy and you are required to contact the two aforesaid Ministries to enquire about the vacant positions in the above mentioned fields.
