How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Refine search results?

If you find that your search has returned too many results you might want to consider refining your search. You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for. The filters can be found to the top of your results.

FAHR Sponsors the Annual Conference on Training & Development for the third time

His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) opened the 2-day Training & Development Show recently organized by Terrapinn Middle East in Dubai World Trade Centre, in the presence of hundreds of training and learning professionals and human resources practitioners.

The show, which is sponsored by FAHR for the third year in a row, is the largest of its kind in the region, and focuses on training in the workplace and deals with the latest training solutions relating to the development of the work environment through training and development of the workforce.

In his speech on the sidelines of the show, HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar said that the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources considers the show one the most important specialized events in the region, and an ideal platform that brings together leading exhibitors specialized in human capital empowerment through training and development.

HE said: “The sponsorship of FAHR to this event reflects its keenness and deep belief in the importance of training in an era of rapid technological advances world-wide. We are encouraging the Federal Government employees to cope with the information age through training and capacity building and exposing them to global best practices and experiences.

“The issue of training and development of human resources has become more important today than ever, in order to provide the ministries and federal entities with qualified workforce capable of achieving institutional goals with high efficiency and professionalism, thus realizing the directives and aspirations of our wise leadership led by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, represented in UAE Vision 2021 and its National Agenda”.

Ralph Burgess, General Manager of "Terrapinn Middle East, gave a glimpse of the Training & Development Show and Conference, saying that the event is gaining a special strategic value being an international forum that highlights the major challenges and opportunities involving the implementation of training and education techniques in the workplace; in addition it reflects the best training and development practices in the world, for the benefit of public and private institutions in the UAE and the region.

He added that the conference discussed a number of fundamental topics including: modern methods of learning, mechanisms of talent development, and the role of technology in enabling education and leadership, and how to employ technology in improving the working environment to achieve institutional goals.

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources proactively participated in the Annual Conference on Training & Development, through a special wing showcasing FAHR’s key periodicals to promote its vital initiatives and projects at the Federal Government level. Short documentaries were displayed to illustrate the achievements of FAHR, and to acquaint visitors with the new Smart Application (FAHR), recently launched featuring 26 principal and sub-services, as well as "M’aref" Imitative for the Federal Government’s preferred training partners.
