The HR Statistical Bulletin in the Federal Government for the third quarter of 2014 issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) revealed that the number of promotions in the ministries and federal authorities operating the HR Management Information System "BAYANATI" during the first 9 months of this year stood at 1020, including 554 upgrades, 388 financial and 38 exceptional promotions.
The HR Statistical Bulletin, which is considered one the most important outcomes of the HR Management Information System "BAYANATI" in the Federal Government, showed that 1118 appointments were made in those federal entities in the same period, including 418 during the third quarter, 264 of them in the ministries of Education and Health.
According to the Bulletin, 39% (33,715) of employees working in the ministries and federal entities totaling 87,024 are female.
The Bulletin indicated that 1742 employees quit their jobs in the ministries and federal authorities operating "BAYANATI" System since the beginning of the year until the end of the third quarter, including 996 nationals, and 746 non-nationals.
Statistics also reveal that the total workforce occupying core jobs in the Federal Government during the third quarter of this year amounted to 74,388, of whom 49,847 were working in the ministries, and 24,541 in independent authorities, while 12,636 occupied craft and support jobs in the Federal Government, 11,067 of them in independent authorities, and 1569 in the ministries. The latter category of workers is mostly concentrated in the Emirates Transport, their number reaching 9943.
The data include all employees in the ministries and independent federal authorities operating "BAYANATI" System, including the general staff, in addition to the judicial staff in the Ministry of Justice, and excluding the diplomatic staff in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, civilian and military employees in the Ministry of the Interior, and those appointed as experts and advisers in most of the federal entities.
