How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Refine search results?

If you find that your search has returned too many results you might want to consider refining your search. You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for. The filters can be found to the top of your results.

FAHR launches a series of training courses within ‘Ma’aref’ Initiative during September, 2014

Tuesday September 02, 2014

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced in a circular issued recently to all ministries and federal entities, the launch of a series of free training courses for the staff of the Federal Government during the month of September, 2014, as part of ‘Ma’aref’ Initiative for for the Federal Government’s preferred training partners. The initiative, which is considered one of FAHR’s strategic and a first of its kind , aims to compile a list of the best training providers UAE-wide and make it available to ministries and federal bodies to take advantage of the training programs offered by these partners at competitive prices.

The circular indicated that FAHR is making arrangements to hold a training course at its headquarters in Dubai entitled "Presentation Skills", in collaboration with H.I.M.K Management Consulting Co on September 25. FAHR also announced that it will launch a training course for the employees of ministries and federal entities under the title "The Basics Of Information Security", in cooperation with Merit Training Foundation for a period of three days starting from September 28.

The circular called upon the human resource and training officers in the ministries and federal entities to nominate their employees wishing to attend the training programs successively offered within ‘Ma’aref’’ Initiative for the Federal Government’s preferred training partners, through the electronic  ‘Ma’aref’’ System: (www.maaref.ae) launched by FAHR earlier this year, which allows training providers to view the training courses they offer, the prices of those courses and discount rates exclusively given to staff of the federal government. It also enables the ministries and federal bodies to choose courses that are commensurate with the needs of their employees, and evaluate these courses through the interactive website and register their employees in the programs, in addition to many other services.

Ma’aref’’ Initiative provides the ministries and federal bodies with the ability to view their training needs and nominate their employees for training programs, and allows the staff to use the system to view and apply for any training program they want.

The system will be available as smart application via mobile devices by the end of 2014, and provides an opportunity for national university students to apply for any training programs within the Initiative free of charge.

“Ma’arif” Initiative for the Federal Government’s preferred training partners aims to create a partnership based on social responsibility and mutual interest between the public and private sectors. The initiative has been launched to ensure quality training for nearly 84,000 employees working in 56 ministries and federal entities, build learning potential and a culture of knowledge and motivation, encourage the transformation of federal entities from a traditional economy to the new global economy (knowledge economy), as well as stimulate innovation, enhance efficiency and productivity and create an attractive work environment in the Federal Government. Moreover it makes easier for the federal entities to select available training programs electronically in preset timeframes
