How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Refine search results?

If you find that your search has returned too many results you might want to consider refining your search. You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for. The filters can be found to the top of your results.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar: "The Directives of our Wise Leadership are the secret behind the UAE’s success"

HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) stressed that the directives and close follow-up by the leadership of the United Arab Emirates, led by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, are key to the UAE’s success and prestigious position it occupies regionally and globally. HE said “This is why the UAE has ranked 12th globally and the first among Arab countries in Global Competitiveness Index 2014-2015, issued by the World Economic Forum.

 

“The wise leadership always sets high ceiling of expectations aspirations and challenges, which require concerted efforts across all spectra of the UAE society, including public and private sector institutions, in order to realize these ambitions and overcome the challenges”.

HE praised the Centre for Government Innovation launched recently by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, considering it as a qualitative addition to government institutions, to encourage and motivate innovation at both federal and local levels, formulate organizational structures and drive innovation in government services towards competitiveness and global leadership.

HE’s statements came during the monthly breakfast banquet organized by FAHR for its employees in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, which has become a tradition followed by the Authority and a perfect opportunity that brings together employees and leadership, to review the latest developments, achievements, projects and future plans.

New Employee Welcome


HE the Director General welcomed the new employees:  Aisha Al Sada, Ashraf Amayreh, Khaled Mahmoud and Lamia Hassan Al Faki, wising them personal and professional success..


Honoring "Testahal" Employees


The ceremony featured the recognition of the Outstanding Employee of the Month of August, under ‘Testahal’ Program, Safa Mahmoud Ali, executive at Department of Human Resource Management Information System (Achievement category).

Develop with Us

HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar also honored employees who presented useful suggestions under “Develop with Us” scheme, namely, Aisha Al Suwaidi, for a proposal on using Balanced Scorecard; Mansour Al Baloushi, for suggesting “Instant Chat on FAHR website”; Mohamed Al Hamadi, for “Creating a user name electronically on BAYANATI System”; Ashraf Amayreh for his proposal a"page on Human Resources Monthly Magazine dealing with the Federal Government employees with creative initiatives”, and Amna Abdouly for “Booking  rooms in FAHR internally”.  

He also honred Hisham Abdul-Jabbar for presenting two suggestions: "Guide to symbols used in printing" and "activating electronic displays in FAHR," and finally Sheikha Alkhieli for "Signing approval of Emirates Government Excellence award-winning, category of the most improving Federal Authority."
The ceremony also witnessed the recognition of some employees for receiving the largest number of thank you (Maqassert) cards, during July and August. These included Klaitham Al Shamsi, Shaima Al-Awadi and Hind Matter for leadership and supervisory category, and Bashar Sbesbi, Leila Kashari and Akram Madkour for executive and specialized category.

Recognition was extended to the team in charge of the electronic system for Strategic Workforce Planning Project, members of the working group preparing a delegation of powers system in FAHR, the winners of Ramadan contest on "Flashes of Thought" launched by FAHR during the holy month of Ramadan, and winners of Quality & Excellence competition.

 

 18 Suggestions during Four Months

Laila Al Suwaidi, Director of Performance Evaluation & Follow-Up, Acting Director of Strategic Planning and Organizational Excellence at FAHR, highlighted the latest developments in relation to the Suggestions Scheme "Develop with Us”, saying that the system received 18 proposals during the months of March and April, 8 of which proved to be useful. She said that work was underway to implement these suggestions.

2015 “Maqassert” cards

For her part, Fatima Al Houti, Director of Human Resources & Services at FAHR gave a brief presentation regarding developments of thank- you e- card "Maqassert", launched by FAHR in March 2013, in order to promote the principle of thanks and appreciation among employees, indicating that FAHR has divided the employees receiving the card into two categories: leadership and supervisory, and professional and executive.
Fatima Houti noted that the staff of the Commission exchanged 184 card "what failed" during the months of July and August, bringing the number of cards that have been exchanged since the launch of the initiative until the end of August 2015

She said that 184  cards were exchanged among FAHR employees during July and August, bringing the total number to 2015 cards since the launch of the initiative until the end of last August.
