The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has launched its new smart application (fahr), a package of human resource systems and services in the Federal Government, mainly the HR Management Information System "BAYANATI", the Federal Government preferred training partners’ initiative "Ma’aref", discount program for Federal Government employees "Imtyazat", legal consultation request program, and Federal Government employees’ network.
This came during the participation of FAHR in GITEX 2014, which kicked off on Sunday in the Dubai World Trade Centre, and will continue until 16 October.
HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Human Resources, stressed that the Authority has managed to convert a wide range of human resource systems and services relating to federal government employees into smart applications, which will enable them to conduct human resources transactions, and get all the information and data they need easily and in an effective manner. He added that the package contains important smart services which will benefit the Authority’s partners and customers alike.
“This step comes within the continued efforts made by the Authority to realize the directives and vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, regarding the shift towards smart government to ensure the provision of government services quickly and effectively around the clock”, HE said.
He confirmed the commitment of the Authority to providing the highest quality of services, based on clear strategic vision, in order to showcase the smart government as a leading global experience that confirms the outstanding position of the UAE in terms of competitiveness, innovation and leadership in all fields. He concluded by stressing the importance of this vital project as it provides essential services to the Federal Government employees anywhere and at any time via tablet devices.
HR Management Information System "BAYANATI"
Klaitham Al Shamsi, Director of Human Resource Management Information System in the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources revealed that the application launched by FAHR offers 26 services to the federal government staff. It speeds up and facilitates procedures, allowing them to access an important package of services, especially those offered through “BAYANATI” System, which enables them to complete human resource transactions using self-service unit of the system, to obtain all the data and information they need on their own.
She said: “BAYANATI smart service will allow employees of ministries and federal bodies to apply for, cancel or track leaves; request permissions to leave the workplace; browse and update personal data; check on monthly salary details, produce salary and to Whom It May Concern certificates, in addition to the opportunity of reviewing centers assigned to provide medical insurance, and completing different cycles of Employee Performance Management System”.

One of the vital services offered through the smart application, is the legal consultation that allows employees the Federal Government employees to review the human resource laws and regulations, as well as request legal advice from the Authority’s Legal Consulting Team
